Australia Proposes Revisions to Maximum Residue Limits for 1,4-Dimethylnaphthalene, Carboxin and Other Pesticides in Foods
On August 25, 2026, the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) published Gazette No. 17, 2026, proposing to incorporate a number of recently approved changes to maximum residue limits (MRLs) for agricultural and veterinary chemicals into Schedule 20 of the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code. The proposed changes cover various pesticides, including 1,4-dimethylnaphthalene, carboxin, cyantraniliprole, diafenthiuron, and fludioxonil.
